Seven sky-blue turquoise stones are arranged in straight-sided bezels in this unique 1960s Diné bracelet. Interspersed between the stones are pairs of sterling silver drops. Along the sides on the outer edges of the bracelet are a series of sun and moon stamps which give this bracelet its unique quality. On the crest of the bracelet are scallop-shaped stamped designs.

The delicate stampwork on this bracelet is what sets it apart from other row bracelets of the time period. There is an extra band of silver attached on the inside of the bracelet, adding to its sturdiness, and providing a silver backing for the top of the bracelet as an accent behind the turquoise.

It appears that the artisan added small areas of silver to fill in the turquoise cabs where they were irregular in shape.  They appear to be black in color but are actually silver.

Condition: this Navajo 7 Stone Turquoise and Sterling Silver Bracelet with Traditional Stampwork is in good condition.
