An early 20th Century Diné artisan mounted three gem-grade cabochons on this fancy lady’s ring. The turquoise stones are a robin’s egg blue with little matrix and were placed in handmade bezels in a vertical setting. Interspersed between the stones are four stamped silver balls. The three stones rest on a slightly scalloped platform that is connected to a three-prong shank. As was the custom in the early 20th century, the ring is unsigned.

Condition: The Vintage Navajo Lady’s Ring with Three Robin’s Egg Blue Stones is in excellent condition. It shows extensive wear that has given the piece a wonderful patina. The stones are intact, but wear has also given them a smooth finish.

Provenance: From an extensive Southwest Indian Jewelry collection in Colorado
