These Zuni Pueblo channel inlay earrings are pictorial examples of a Hoop Dancer. The body of the male dancer is made of a white gemstone, his earrings and necklace are made of turquoise, his moccasins and chest are made from spondylus shell, and his hair and loin cloth are jet. The gemstones are surrounded by thin strips of silver, and the hoops are silver.

This wonderful pair of earrings was not signed by the artisan. They are fashioned for pierced ears.
