Pahponee (Kickapoo-Patawatomi) has won many awards at Santa Fe Indian Market, Heard Museum, and Red Earth Festival, among others. She was IACA's 1999 Artist of the Year, and she was featured on the cover of Cowboys & Indians in 1999.
