Reyes Galvan Aguilar (c1860-1934) K'aamuyets'a of Zia Pueblo married Mariano Aguilar (ca. 1862-1895) of San Felipe Pueblo sometime before 1889. They had four children. In the 1900 census, she was listed as unmarried and recorded at Reyes Galvan, a name she retained for the future.
It is fortunate that Kenneth Chapman and Jesse Nussbaum took a number of photographs of Reyes Galvan and her pottery and that those images have been published in The Pottery of Zia Pueblo by Harlow and Lanmon.
