San Felipe Pueblo
+Add origin to My Preferences San Felipe Pueblo Pottery and Fine Art
It is known that pottery was made at San Felipe Pueblo during the historic period; however, there are no known examples in collections. At least one 20th century potter is known to have made pottery in the latter half of the century—Candelaria Montana—who passed away in the mid 1980s.
San Felipe Pueblo is located 10 miles north of Bernalillo and is typically not open to visitors. The Feast day is May 1st honoring their patron St. Phillip.
