Vera Luna (1930-1982) was a master Zuni Pueblo silversmith and lapidary artist active from 1970 until her passing in 1982. She specialized in remarkably precise mosaic channel inlay, earning wide acclaim for her intricate depictions of Katsinas, figure dancers, and Apache Mountain Dancers (Gaan). Descended from an esteemed lineage of Zuni jewelers-including her grand-uncle Latalio Luna, as well as Isia and Belle Luna-she distinguished her work with the stamped hallmark V. Luna.
