RAIN GODS REIGN AGAIN The Dana Lipsig Collection of Tesuque Pueblo Rain Gods

January 01, 2005 until March 28, 2005

In 2005, Adobe Gallery exhibited a collection of over 100 Tesuque Rain God figurines from the collection of Dana Lipsig of New York.  Lipsig said she fell in love with rain gods without really knowing what they were. She found them at galleries, antique shops, and flea markets. The rain gods in her collection dated from the 1880s to the early 1900s; most were made between 1905 and 1910.

We published an invitation to the exhibit that unfolds to a poster-size sheet featuring the entire collection.

We have a few of these invitations remaining and will be happy to mail one to you at no cost.  Call or email and we will respond until the selection is exhausted.

How did we get all of the figurines on this poster?
