Tewa Tiles

August 27, 2007 until August 30, 2007

A client of ours purchased some Hopi-Tewa pottery tiles in 1967 with the intent of embedding them around his fireplace. He purchased them from the Museum of Northern Arizona. He never got around to installing them, so he recently decided it was time to sell them, and we were fortunate to have him contact us. Sadie Adams made all of them and all were purchased from the Museum of Northern Arizona Annual Hopi Craftsman Exhibition on June 19, 1967. There are five of the same size and one that is over-sized. The original MNA price tags are still attached to some of the tiles and they were delivered to us in the original museum paper bags.
