Artist siganture of Alvin Baca, Santa Clara Pueblo PotterA member of a well-known pottery family from Santa Clara Pueblo, Alvin Baca was born in 1966 and is recognized for his ribbed style bowls, pots, pipes, vases, and more. He is the son of Angela Baca, and grandson of Severa and Cleto Tafoya. The Tafoyas have a long history of creating beautiful pieces at Santa Clara. Alvin has won numerous awards for his work, and is featured in museums throughout the southwest.
