As lively and bubbly as her personality is, Marilyn brings much joy in her work while capturing a sense of humor with her storytellers—this one is no exception. Dressed in traditional pueblo clothing, this female storyteller embraces 9 children: some climbing, playing, holding a pet cat, or just being mischievous. The adult's mouth is open as she sings a story to all the children. She holds a seed pot decorated with Mimbres designs.

The storyteller is signed M. Henderson, Acoma, N.M. Circa 1982.
