Hopi Overlay Belt Buckle Signed Lomawywesa [SOLD]

This buckle is stamped on the back with the name Lomawywesa, the Hopi name of Michael Kabotie. It is a buckle of excellent craftsmanship.  The design is quite complicated and interesting, almost a representation of stylized birds from prehistoric Hopi pottery.  

Condition:  very good condition with minor scratches on face which could be buffed out.

Provenance: this Hopi Overlay Belt Buckle Signed Lomawyursa is from the estate of a collection of 40 belt buckles amassed by a client from Oregon
