Silver Sun Face Dish with Radiating Rays [R]

Following her passion for painting and jewelry design Carol moved to New Mexico after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a Fine Arts degree.  She was inspired by the jewelry making community in the Southwest and opened a design and jewelry manufacturing business in Albuquerque, which she owned and operated for thirty years.

This silver plate featuring the Sun face is one of her creations.  It is stamped on verso with her logo. It was probably stamped from sterling silver sheet.  The Sun’s eyes are in matte silver.
