Jeweler Once Known

This late 20th Century silver ring features a large rectangular cabochon of turquoise set snugly in a simple straight edged bezel. A hook design was placed on the shank adding an elegant addition to the ring. It is a modern day example of the traditional Navajo aesthetic of making the focal point of a piece of jewelry the beauty of a single high grade stone. The ring is elegant and masculine. The ring is stamped SS for sterling silver. The artist's name is incised on the silver but we have been unable to decipher the name.  It was probably made by a Diné artist of the Navajo Nation.
