World famous painter and sculptor Bill Worrell’s inspiration comes from the ancient rock art designs of West Texas and the Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico. Worrell interprets these messages from the ancestors into his art work usually in the form of painting and sculpture.

These earrings are a small copy of a sculpture he did called simply, “The Symbol.”

Both the spiral and the cross are pictographic symbols that have influenced Worrell’s work.  A writer as well as a visual artist, Worrell often engraves words on his pieces as tokens of his inspiration. The words “light” and “love” are engraved on the back of these earrings as well as is his signature. The earrings are fitted for pierced ears.
