- Size: 34” Tall;

This pedestal was constructed of solid quarter-sawn oak in the tradition of period Stickley Arts and Crafts style pedestals. It is contemporary, however, as it was made for a special exhibit at the gallery. It is signed with the initials of the maker.
The artist, Jack Holtman, was living in Albuquerque, New Mexico when we commissioned him to make several Arts and Crafts Mission Oak pedestals for an exhibit of pottery in 1992. This is one of those commissioned. Holtman later moved to Denver because he found it easier to find quarter sawn oak for his furniture making business. He passed away in 2010.
Condition: very good condition
Provenance: directly from the artist
