The jar's design is exceptionally elaborate, beginning at the neck with three rows of black and white triangles that meticulously increase in size from the rim to the shoulder.
The body is highly decorated with intricate black fine-line elements, resembling yucca leaves and triangles. This fine-line work transitions into a secondary motif: black-outlined red triangles flanked by black and white adjacent triangles. A final, elegant touch is a long curve beneath the main design that terminates in a stylized bird's head.
Condition: very good condition
Provenance: this Acoma Pueblo Miniature Polychrome Jar by Mariatta Patricio Juanico is from the estate of a former Adobe Gallery client
