Moore's iconic 1903 Catalog of Navajo Blankets, this unique piece features the classic "Plate III" layout with distinct border variations. The Plate III design is celebrated for its bold central diamond motifs framed by intricate geometric patterns, a true hallmark of the Crystal Trading Post style.

The rug incorporates a balanced palette of earth tones, achieved with both natural and aniline dyes, creating a visually striking yet harmonious composition. The weaver's expert craftsmanship is evident in the precise, tightly woven patterns, showcasing exceptional skill.

J.B. Moore, a prominent trader at the Crystal Trading Post in northwestern New Mexico, played a pivotal role in popularizing and transforming Navajo rug designs in the early 1900s.
