Sterling Silver Ring with Square and Triangular Turquoise Gemstones

This classic hand-crafted Native American piece exhibits strong stylistic hallmarks consistent with mid-to-late 20th-century Diné (Navajo) silverwork. The lack of a hallmark is typical for vintage silverwork created prior to the 1970s, as many bench jewelers and silversmiths did not consistently stamp their pieces before hallmark popularity expanded.

It features a vertical, elongated three-stone stack set in saw-tooth bezels, bounded by heavy twisted wire borders and stamped repoussé/swedge motifs along the outer framing. The reverse reveals a traditional split-wire/tri-split shank that tapers toward the back, designed to distribute weight comfortably across the finger for long-face rings.

The three cabochons (a central square flanked by two triangular/trapezoidal stones) show a medium sky-blue hue with a tight, webbed dark reddish-brown to black matrix. The distinct spiderweb pattern, high contrast matrix, and color tone closely resemble turquoise from the Kingman or Morenci mines in Arizona — both widely used by Navajo artisans during the mid-century period. 

The ring shows a natural, desirable aged patina within the recesses of the wirework and backplate. The long vertical orientation gives the piece a striking presence while maintaining a refined ring size 5-3/4 fit.
