Image Source:  the photo copies (of original polaroid’s) of Helen Hardin appear courtesy of the photographer.This etching by Helen Hardin (1943-1984) Tsa-Sah-Wee-Eh - Little Standing Spruce was begun on 21 June 1980 and completed on 18 July 1980.  The master printer was Ricardo C. Ximenes of El Cerro Graphics, Los Lunas, New Mexico.  It is a two-color etching executed on a copper plate.  The colors are Burnt sienna and Burnt umber.  There was an edition of 50 Arabic numbered copies and eight Roman numbered copies, of which this is #VII/VIII.  The Arabic numbered copies were to be sold and the Roman numbered copies were for the benefit of the print house.

The etching is signed at lower right, Tsa-sah-wee-eh with the Santa Clara Pueblo artist's cartouche, and initials HH below her signature.  At lower left is the house chop, at lower right is the printer’s chop, and the printer’s blind stamp is on verso. The edition number is on lower left.
