This bowl is itself a masterpiece. The exterior walls rise from a flat base that is 4 inches in diameter to a top opening that is over 9 inches in diameter. The exterior sloping wall has a 2-inch wide carved band just below the rim that is comprised of hook elements. The interior of the bowl is stone polished.
Condition: structurally in perfect condition, but there are a few slip cracks, on the interior bottom and at the rim
Provenance: from the collection of a family from Atlanta, Georgia
