Sandia Pueblo Pottery and Fine Art

Sandia Pueblo logoSandia Pueblo was abandoned by its inhabitants in the late 1600s but reoccupied in the mid 1700s by refugees from several pueblos.  It is believed that Sandia, at one time, produced thick-walled black smudged pottery of inferior quality, but few pieces are known to exist.

Sandia Pueblo is located 12 miles north of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Feast day is June 13th honoring their patron St. Anthony.
